Teng Tools presents MSC Challenge NZ Championship 2025 in conjunction with Formula Drift Japan.

We welcome you to join our fun competition, entry fee includes entries to 4 rounds total 7 days of drifting, covers 1 driver and 3 pit crew, Window banners, door cards

Round 1: 14-15th November 2025
Round 2: 28-29th November 2025
Round 3: 12-13th December 2025
Round 4: 14th December 2025

MSC Challenge was started back in 2006 in Japan by Kazuhiko Iwata who also founded Formula Drift Japan series. MSC Challenge focuses on the "Fun Comp" for drifters with all skill levels, very soon it has become very popular among the drifters in Japan. Through MSC challenge, drivers progress their skills in a fun and fairly level playfield.

MSC Challenge is a feeder series to the top tier competition Formula Drift Japan, where top drivers will be awarded with Formula Drift Japan driver licences.

At MSC NZ we will be awarding the series champion the Formula Drift Japan 2 Licence.

It's our pleasure to have the founder Iwata-san and Formula Drift judges fully behind our events. The event will be livestreamed online so this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills to them and the world!!!

For the double final Round 3&4 we will also have Formula Drift Japan judge Kenji Yamanaka coming over to New Zealand to judge the events.

Vehicle Regulation:

. Full weld-in rollcage with side intrusion

. Full bucket seat with harnesses

. Maximum 235 width rear road tyres (semi slick type drift tyre NOT PERMITTED at the rear)
